Lew Cramer
As Utah CEO for Colliers International, Lew Cramer is part of the fastest-growing publicly listed commercial real estate company in the world. Colliers commercial real estate network of 12,000 professionals in 69 countries providing the full range of commercial services. In 2016, Governor Gary R. Herbert appointed Lew to the Utah Transportation Commission, where he currently serves as a commissioner-at-large. Lew serves on various boards through the private and public sectors, including the National Advisory Board at UVU.
Previously, Lew served as the founding CEO of the World Trade Center Utah, a public-private partnership assisting Utah companies to succeed internationally. In this capacity, Lew dramatically helped grow international trade and investment in America's fastest-growing state economy. During the Reagan and first Bush Administrations he served as the director general of the U.S. Commercial Service and assistant U.S. commerce secretary of International Trade, leading the U.S. government’s global team of 1,400 commercial officers at embassies worldwide. Lew also helped lead US WEST's creation of the first cellular phone systems in 20+ countries. He spent many years helping develop the first cellular and cable telephony projects in Asia, Europe, and the former USSR.
