Karen Keller
Karen K. Keller graduated from BYU-Idaho in 1976 with a degree in interior design. She was also an IDEA Certified Dance Instructor from 1980-2001. Karen is very involved in her community and is the UTPTA president at Bountiful Elementary school, where she has served as a member for 35 years. She also serves as a member of the Hale Center Theatre Board.
With her husband, as vice president of spending, Karen has assisted for 40 years in the building of a very successful business, Keller Investment Properties (KIP) with portfolio core business acquisitions of multi-family (APTS) and student-housing investments in five western states, plus a large diversified arm of private equity investing and Keller Luxury Homes (Ski-in and Ski-out residences) in Deer Valley, UT.
She and Scott have hosted, in their personal residence—to name a few—VIPs and presidential candidates such as Governor Mitt Romney, Governor John Kasich, Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz, Speaker Paul Ryan, Governor Mike Pence, Donald Trump Jr., Governor and Mrs. Gary Herbert, and all major elected political officials for Utah including Pro Temp Senator Orrin Hatch, Senator Mike Lee, Congresswoman Mia love, Congr. Chris Stewart, Congr. Rob Bishop, and Congr. Jason Chaffetz, Attorney General Sean Reyes, members of the Pentagon including those at the tip of the spear leading the charge into Bagdad and toppling the Saddam Husein statue, and Baroness Emma Nicholson.
Karen is very philanthropic and politically supportive. She enjoys skiing, running, cycling, weight training, hiking, house boating, and all water sports in Lake Powell. She also enjoys marathons, and has participated in relays and triathlons, and has an appreciation for the arts.
Karen married the handsome, dynamic, and hot Scott C. Keller in September of 1976. They have five wonderful children, two amazing daughters and two son-in-laws and 15 grandchildren, thus far.
