Jessielie Anderson

Jesselie Barlow Anderson was born in California and raised in Layton. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah in 1968 before beginning a 12-year career with Utah’s congressional delegation in Washington D.C. In 1981, she married Scott Anderson in Tokyo. The Anderson’s spent seven years In Tokyo before moving to California. When Scott Anderson took a position with Zions Bank in 1991, they moved to Utah.

Jesselie has a lifetime of involvement in community service, in everything from educational organizations to arts and hospital boards.

She currently serves on the following boards and organizations: Utah State Board of Regents; Education First, Legacy of Life Committee (Deseret Foundation); Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics and Public Service (Weber State University); Success in Education Foundation; Waterford School Board of Trustees; Zoo, Arts and Parks Preservation Committee; and a number of councils and boards at the University of Utah.

In addition, Jesselie has previously served on the Governor's Mansion Foundation; Natural History Museum of Utah Associates Board; Salt Lake Community College Board of Trustees; The Children's Center Board of Trustees; and Westminster College Board of Trustees. 

Jesselie has also worked with corporate organizations, including Barlow Corporation, Dale Corporation, Service Credit Corporation, and Service Mortgage Corporation.
