Jennifer Danielson
Jennifer Danielson is vice president, strategy and policy for Cambia Health Solutions, a regionally based total health solutions company dedicated to transforming the way people experience health care. In her broad corporate leadership capacity, Jennifer is responsible for guiding a multi-state team of professionals who work to identify, understand and overcome external obstacles, while sharing insights and counsel internally in a manner that ensures the success of Cambia’s business objectives and strategic initiatives.
Immediately prior to this most recent promotion, Jennifer served as president of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah, a position she held since 2012. In that role, she was responsible for strategy development and execution for the company’s operations in Utah, which serve a customer base of in excess of a half million people.
Jennifer began her tenure with Regence as a staff attorney in 1997. Subsequently, she served as associate general counsel and assistant vice president for legislative and regulatory affairs. She has directed health information for all Regence markets, and was named Utah vice president in 2010.
Before joining Regence, she worked for the U.S. Public Health Service, the Utah Department of Health, and the Utah Attorney General's Office Health Division. Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a law degree from the University of Utah.
Jennifer is active in the community and serves on the boards of United Way of Salt Lake, the Economic Development Corporation of Utah, and the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business National Advisory Board. She is also co-founder of Utah Wonder Women, a networking and development organization for female business and community leaders.
