David Simmons

David Simmons spent 30 years in the media business as chief executive officer of Simmons Media Group, a Utah based radio broadcasting and outdoor advertising company with radio stations and sign locations throughout the western United States.  He was also chairman and CEO of Keystone Communications, a satellite communications firm with a worldwide roster of broadcast clients during the 1990’s.  David is now a private investor.

David graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in Economics and Political Science.  He later obtained a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.  He serves on the board of trustees of Western Governor’s University, chairs the Utah Sports Commission, and is currently or has served as a board member for many other private firms and not-for-profit organizations.  

David and his wife Melinda live in Salt Lake City, Utah and have five children. An avid reader, he has a love for history and has traveled extensively.
