Lynsey Drew is a Family Medicine physician who is currently working as the Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine and participating in the education of new physicians in the community. Dr Drew has a passion for medical education and is excited to be working in Undergraduate Medial Education after spending time teaching in Graduate Medical Education with her skills learned during a Faculty Development Fellowship. Dr Drew received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences COMP. Her family medicine residency training was at the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency program in Provo Utah. She has worked as faculty at the residency clinic as well as outpatient only family medicine with Intermountain Healthcare. Currently she enjoys spending clinical time on a regular basis working with Intermountain Healthcare’s Post Acute Care Team where she cares for patients in skilled nursing facilities who were recently discharged from the hospital.
Dr. Drew loves to stay active and try new things. Earlier this year she picked up stationary cycling and continues yoga and strength training. She is married with 4 children with ages from 17 to 6. Hyram Miskin, first and foremost, is a husband and a father. Hyram is a dog lover and has two Great Pyrenees mixes at home. He was born in Salt Lake but spent most of his life in California. He loves to play basketball and had the opportunity to play for two years for Hartnell College. Hyram got his Bachelor's degree at UVU in Marketing. He used to work for UVU Athletics where he ran The Den, UVU's student section and headed the first market research campaign for UVU students and athletics. Jaden Evanson graduated from the University of Lethbridge in Canada at the end of 2014. He then began his career in public accounting, working at various firms before starting his own practice in 2018. The opportunity then came to join a partnership, and in 2021 Jaden's firm was merged with Volution LLP. However, Jaden was not enjoying public practice due to the stress and the demands on his time, which he wanted to more fully dedicate to his young family of 3 children. After a short contract in Vancouver to help a construction corporation through a few acquisitions as a temporary CFO, Jaden then decided to obtain his MBA to better position himself as a business leader. He hopes that this will enable him to maintain a healthy work-life balance for his family while also enabling him to lead corporations to success through executive leadership or as a trusted consultant.
I'm Jarod Ivins. I am from Murray, UT and am the oldest of 5 kids. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the South Africa Cape Town Mission. I am an avid skier and love to ski at snowbird with my wife, family, and friends. I also love being on the water and water skiing and surfing. I love all sports but am very passionate about college football and basketball. I graduated from BYU in April of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Management. I have been working on a sports tech startup called SpeedFreaks for a year and a half providing data management tools to coaches and athletic departments. She was named the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year. Jenna graduated from UVU in Community Health with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Business. She is anxious to participate in the Masters of Business Administration program and explore new career paths.
I lead with strategic thinking and execution. My top five strengths are learner, achiever, arranger, intellection, and input. I am a runner; I took up running in 2019 because it was a challenge and the challenge exhilarated me. I have since run several half marathons and 10k’s. I never focus on winning, but on achievement - getting the work done. I'm a mother of three wonderful challenging children, housekeeper, chef, and personal assistant.
My family comes first and foremost, I have a beautiful wife and 3 kids; 1 girl and 2 boys. We love the outdoors, camping, fishing, and a little bit of hiking. I have enjoyed working in small businesses for most of my career that gives me a high degree of autonomy. My strength is in finance, but I have done a little of everything as is expected in small businesses. I hope this program puts me on a trajectory to be able to achieve new heights and one day be a influential business leader.
Kaitlin grew up in Orem and graduated with a Marketing degree from Utah Valley University Summer of 2022. She currently works for the marketing firm 97th floor. Kaitlin currently is doing an internship with the Utah Jazz. She also works with the UVU Men’s Hockey team as the Director of Marketing. Kaitlin appreciates sports marketing and hopes to go into a related field. She enjoys learning and looks forward to learning more about business this upcoming year.
Melanie Alexandra is an innovative entrepreneur. She previously double majored in Fashion Design & Technical Apparel Design at the Salt Lake Fashion Institute. She believes art and business go hand in hand, and founded two businesses while finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship at BYU Idaho. Melanie has experience with CAD pattern drafting software, adobe suite, tech pack creation and digital illustration. She is an efficient digital marketer and currently holds both a Hubspot Social Media Marketing certification and a Mimic Social Stukent Certification. To obtain these certificates she created simulated thousand-dollar marketing budgets and ran social media ad campaigns. Through Investopedia Melanie also completed an investment portfolio simulation of $500,000.
Two weeks after finishing fashion school Melanie was hired as a medical garment pattern drafter at Beehive Clothing. Where she developed custom designed medical undergarments. These designs have helped individuals with electronic hearts, colostomy bags, dwarfism, obesity, and amputees. With her personal clothing company (Melanie Alexandra Design), she has produced collections for charitable fashion shows. These events help pay full year tuition, food, and school supplies for various students at a girl’s academy in Nigeria. Melanie speaks Spanish, English, and French. She is currently a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and enjoys playing violin in her community symphony.
Seth K. Holden is a Sales Operations and Partnership Manager who works with both internal and external sales data to achieve high profitability and maximized revenue potential. Seth believes that increasing the efficiency of the sales process and revenue operations are crucial to the longevity of a business. Seth is highly skilled in business development, sales operations, and leadership. With a background at Clearlink Technologies SYKES, the United States Air Force, and National Processing, he has built and managed dozens of strategic business partnerships across many diverse industries. Seth is a continuous learner with certificates from Airman Leadership School and Salesforce. Seth holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Accounting and Business Management from Utah Valley University, as well as an Associates of Science in Aircraft Armament Systems from the United States Air Force.
Shaylee is a mother, and prior to her full-time MBA student status, she worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for CHOICE Humanitarian creating a variety of infographics for various small villages around the world. Shaylee has experience with graphic design and other aspects of the art and design world. She has participated in various internships prior to her professional experience. Shaylee also participated in club leadership as graphic designer and event planner for the Women in Business club during her undergraduate program. Shaylee has always loved design and the general beautification of the world we live in, but during the last few years she found that her true love is humanitarian work. Shaylee would like to use her MBA degree to start her own non-profit organization where she wants to help with the rehousing and resettlement of refugees. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art with a Design Thinking Minor from Brigham Young University.
Sheridan grew up in Henderson, NV but has been in Utah for the last five years. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. She loves engineering but is excited to dip her toes into the business world. She hopes to get into marketing and perhaps create her own company one day. Sheridan enjoys cooking, reality TV, and going on walks with her husband and dog.
My name is Po Shun Choi and I am from Hong Kong. I gained my degree in Psychology. I have worked as an elementary school teacher for the last 3 years before joining this program. I focused on curriculum developing on STEM or STEAM Education. The curriculum has received several awards domestically. During that time, I realized the relations between Education and Business. I believe that in order to provide the best education for the next generation, some innovative work needs to be done on both teaching and business of Education. My ultimate goal is to combine different Education systems into a curriculum that can best suit the 21st century. To achieve the goal, communication and collaboration between different schools and cultures is essential. I wish to work in a company that envision Education the way I do. However, working in the Education Industry also provided opportunities for me on training other colleagues as well. I am open to share what I have learned from my past 3 years.
I am California native, proud product of immigrant parents, and a striving example to my dozens of nieces and nephews. I have lived in various countries, interacted with cultures beyond those I was familiar with, and showed my family time and time again the unknown doesn't always have to paralyze you. My next goal is to obtain an MBA and work in consulting to help small business learn the basic business skills needed to flourish in such unpredictable times. In addition, I hope to obtain a stable and well-paying job to help my parents retire and provide my future family the opportunities they deserve.
Tim Fuller works as a loan officer for The Mortgage Specialist LP. He is licensed to originate in Utah and Idaho. Tim is passionate about guiding homebuyers through what is likely the largest purchase of their lives. He aspires to start his own mortgage brokerage in the future. Tim is a member of UVU’s NCAA Basketball Team, and he takes pride in representing UVU. He helped the team win the 2020-21 WAC Regular Season Championship and led UVU to the best non-conference run in school history last year, including a win over #12 nationally ranked BYU. Tim has received many academic accolades during his time as a student-athlete: the 2021 NABC Honors Court, the WAC All-Academic Team, and the 2022 Perry Homes Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In addition, he was on the dean’s list throughout his undergraduate program and was awarded Summa Cum Laude honors. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from UVU, as well as an Associate of Science in business and economics from Weber State University.

He is currently entertaining various roles in diverse industries. Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Utah Valley University.
