With representation across every branch of student government, UVUSA is committed to helping students succeed in all aspects of their college career. We plan and host events at UVU to fit all students’ interests and goals.
Connection Events emphasize civic engagement events (with a special focus on voter registration in 2024), campus engagement events, and partnerships with various groups across campus.
Activities Events include large-scale programming that serves different demographics, such as young families, traditional students, non-traditional students, students in domestic relationships etc.
Academic Events focus on academic success, forums, educational and informational events, and panels to ask the experts in your college and different career fields.
A free event for all students, Wolverine Bingo includes six rounds, each with valuable prizes. Students can come alone or with a group and make new friends along the way. As a kickoff to both fall and spring semesters, Wolverine Bingo is a chance at high stakes glory!
Held monthly throughout fall and spring semesters, these panel-style events feature experts from a variety of fields that can answer questions about what professional work is like. Hosted by a different college or school each month, come join us to Ask the Experts!
Our biggest event of the year, Insomnia is the annual Halloween dance. Come together with your friends or meet new people once you get there. With loud music and lots of fun to be had, come dressed to impress in your best costume!
Compete in this annual, week-long event to learn more about your major, academic department, and college or school as you attend fun events! Participate to earn points for your college and bring home the college cup trophy!
Meet fellow Wolverines while enjoying a delicious holiday meal together. We will also learn together about the origins of Thanksgiving and why it is celebrated here in the United States.
A longstanding tradition here at UVU, Emerald Ball is an elegant dance typically in conjunction with Homecoming. This event provides a great chance to come with a date, a group, or come stag and leave with newfound friends. Students have an opportunity to dress to impress and dance their troubles away at this themed dance.
Every February, UVU students can expect a fun outing for the whole crew. Family Valley-tines is all about celebrating the people you love! With crafts, entertainment, food, and more, students can bring their own kids, nieces, nephews, and friends to enjoy a night full of hearts and happiness.
