The Utah Valley University Business Resource Center (UVU BRC) is excited to announce its partnership with the Kauffman Foundation to offer the FastTrac® program for entrepreneurs and business owners in 2025. As part of the UVU BRC’s commitment to supporting startups and small businesses, the FastTrac training will help aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners refine their ideas, develop a solid business plan, and successfully launch or grow their ventures.
The Kauffman FastTrac® program is a nationally recognized course designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and strategies needed to succeed in business. Through hands-on instruction and practical guidance, participants will learn how to evaluate the feasibility of their business ideas, identify growth opportunities, and address potential challenges.
UVU BRC will offer the FastTrac® training to two cohorts in 2025. The first cohort will start on February 6, 2025, and the application deadline is January 15, 2025. Entrepreneurs and business owners are encouraged to apply early to secure a spot in this highly valuable program. The training is structured to provide participants with insights on market research, business operations, financial management, and customer acquisition, all with the goal of helping them build sustainable and scalable businesses.
In addition to FastTrac, UVU BRC also hosts the 1 Million Cups program every Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. This weekly event, also created by the Kauffman Foundation, brings together entrepreneurs to present their businesses to a supportive community, gather feedback, and engage in networking opportunities. These initiatives reflect the ongoing efforts of UVU BRC and the Kauffman Foundation to foster entrepreneurial growth and innovation in the Utah Valley region.
