Rocky Mountain-Central Asia exchange
As part of the partnership in sustainable mountain development between the Rocky Mountains and Central Asia, Utah Valley University (UVU) hosted Kyrgyz parliamentarian Kurmanbek Dyikanbayev and Bishkek city court adviser Sultangazy Kasymov for a week in March. The guests agreed to cooperate with the University of Utah on genetic research, water management and utilization of uranium tailing wastes in addition to continuing legislative, educational and trade exchanges through UVU.
