Wolverine Connections is a 1-credit course (SLSS 101R) designed to help you hit the ground running, make friends, and find your groove on campus. This course will connect you with everything UVU has to offer—both academically and socially.
Imagine a class where you’re preparing for real success—both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether you're trying to figure out your major, getting familiar with campus resources, or just wanting to meet new people, Wolverine Connections is here to help you do it all.
Learn the ins and outs of campus life—from academic resources to hidden study spots.
Get clear on what you want from your UVU experience, and start planning for your future, whether that’s a career, a degree, or personal growth.
This isn’t just another class. You’ll meet other students, build a support system, and get to know the people who will help you succeed.
Wolverine Connections begins with a two-day, pre-semester introduction where you (and your family) can meet your classmates and your professor, and get to know campus. After that, class sessions are held once a week for the first block (7-8 weeks), where you’ll be making friends and learning how to make the most of your education.
Wolverine Connections is highly recommended for new students seeking to maximize their UVU experience. Tuition costs are covered for full time students.
