Keynote address by Danielle Rourke, Dell Technologies
Danielle Rourke is a Dell Technologies Senior Higher Education Strategist and brings extensive leadership and technology skills, having worked in a variety of disciplines and industries. Prior to joining Dell Technologies, Danielle served as an Associate Director of Information Technology for the University of Colorado Boulder, where she championed new and innovative methods of utilizing technology to make education more accessible to under-served student populations. A technologist and analyst at heart, Danielle's true passion is helping broker technological solutions to help students, staff, and faculty across the globe engage more fully in the power of education.

Join us for a conversation with a panel of experts from Adobe, BanQu, Dell, Nature's Sunshine, and the Utah Sustainable Business Coalition (USBC) to discuss the future of sustainability in business, how to evaluate and use a stakeholder framework to build your business case, and what you can do to further integrate sustainability into core operations and employee mindsets. The panel is hosted by the Utah Sustainable Business Coalition, a growing organization of business partners, community partners, and sustainability practitioners dedicated to advancing sustainable business practices and developing a community of skilled sustainability professionals here in Utah.

The Campus Sustainability Tour will kick off at the Keller Building and end at the GRIT Garden at the North end of Main Campus. Along the way we will hear from UVU operations specialists discussing energy (efficiency, geothermal, and solar), water & landscaping, transportation & air quality, waste reduction & recycling, and community-building. The half tour will end at the Student Life Center (approximately 0.35 miles). The full tour is approximately 0.65 miles (one way) and will finish with a take-home souvenir from the garden. The tour is ADA accessible.
Information tables by various UVU organizations and local non-profit organizations will be available in room KB 403 from 8:30 to 12:15.
