Early Alert is a university-wide effort to identify and serve students who may need additional campus resources. When you submit an alert, a team of student success specialists will reach out to the student to provide guidance and connections to campus resources.

Midterm Grades

All faculty teaching freshman courses and other courses with a high failure rate are strongly encouraged to provide and post midterm grades on Banner. By posting midterm grades in Banner, academic advisors and other UVU departments can access the grades and run reports listing students who may need extra academic support.

Student Rights and Accountability

Faculty have the responsibility and authority to establish expectations for their classes that students are expected to meet, and in a manner consistent with University policies. The Office of Student Rights and Accountability assists faculty with enforcing the expectations outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
