Spirion is commercial software that searches for sensitive data such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, and a variety of other data elements. With Spirion, UVU faculty and staff can proactively find sensitive data on their University owned machines and storage. If Spirion does find sensitive data on your machine, you can shred, scrub or secure the sensitive data.
