The Impact Fellowship is a social impact leadership program at UVU where students create awareness on campus and in the community by leading out on educational events, applied research, and community assessment projects.
Impact Fellows receive an in-state, full-tuition scholarship, gain resumé-building experience, and connect with off-campus community leaders. They also receive comprehensive training in social impact principles, methodologies, and frameworks, professional development and one-on-one mentoring.
Our fellows lead out on applied research and design projects with our community partners. They also host weekly and semester events that raise awareness about social issues and explore impact strategies. In addition to these events, the Social Impact Fellows have multiple publications and projects where you can find their community work.
Social Impact Fellows play a key role in supporting our Social Impact Metrics Lab (SIMLab) by partnering with community organizations to conduct comprehensive impact assessments. Fellows use systems analysis and data-driven measurement techniques to evaluate outcomes, then collaborate on designing effective interventions for data-informed social change.
