Wolverine Completion Program
Graduating in less than six years is a significant milestone. We believe you deserve
recognition and support. That is why we have created our Wolverine Completion Program.
This program is designed to assist you in transitioning to the next phase of your
life, whether it’s further education, embarking on a career, or exploring exciting
opportunities. As a participant in this program, you’ll have the opportunity to meet
with a dedicated completion mentor throughout the semester. And as an added benefit,
you’ll receive a partial tuition waiver to help ease your financial burden.
Wolverine Completion Resident Waiver Requirements
- Utah Residency: You must be a Utah Resident
- Bachelor’s Degree Pursuit: You must be working toward your first bachelor’s degree
(associates does not qualify)
- Completed Credits: You must have 90 credits completed and applied towards their bachelor's degree by the application deadline
- Minimum GPA: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Graduation Timeline: Be on track to graduate within six years of the first semester
attended at UVU (not including concurrent enrollment)
- FAFSA Eligibility: Complete the FAFSA application and be eligible to receive federal
aid
- Updated Graduation Plan: Have an updated and complete to graduation plan in Wolverine
Track that is less than a year old and locked by an academic advisor. This plan should
show your estimated graduation date and the classes needed to complete your degree
- Class Registration: Be registered for classes at least ten business days before start
of the semester in which you hope to receive the waiver
- Application Timing: Submit your application at least ten business days prior to the
semester you intend to receive the waiver
Applicants selected to receive the Wolverine Completion Resident Waiver will be required to check-in with the Degree Completion Program Manager two times a semester once
face to face (online via teams or in person) and once via text message.
Returning Wolverine Program
Life happens, and sometimes we need to take a break from our education. Whether it’s
family commitments, financial challenges, or personal reasons, we understand. That’s
why we’ve created the Returning Wolverine Program. If you’re coming back to us after
a break of two or more semesters, you may qualify! This program offers coaching support
and a partial tuition waiver to help you overcome obstacles, lower costs, and finish
your degree strong!
Returning Wolverine Resident Waiver Requirements
- Utah Residency: You must be a Utah Resident
- Break from School: After attending UVU for at least a semester(not including concurrent
enrollment), you didn't attend for two or more consecutive semesters (you can apply
even if you have already returned from your break)
- Bachelor’s Degree Pursuit: You must be working toward your first bachelor’s degree
(associates does not qualify)
- Completed Credits: You must have 65 credits completed and applied towards your current bachelor's degree by the application deadline
- Minimum GPA: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
- FAFSA Eligibility: Complete the FAFSA application and be eligible to receive federal
