This degree offers a balanced theoretical and applied approach to studying a broad range of business and accounting disciplines. This includes marketing, finance, law, operations, and strategy. Following a study of the primary accounting disciplines of financial, managerial, audit, information systems, and tax, students can engage in a more specialized study of internal audit, management accounting, tax, or public accounting/graduate school. Students also develop essential business skills in communication, critical thinking, team building, and computer applications. Total Program Credits: 120
Our accounting program is an IMA Endorsed Program. This means that curriculum in the accounting degree meets rigorous standards to successfully prepare students for the CMA exam.
Each year, the Woodbury School of Business Accounting Department hosts a “Meet the Firms” event to provide an opportunity for accounting students and employers to meet. Utah’s top accounting firms attend the event each year to discuss internships and full-time job opportunities.
