Meet With Your Counselor

Please note:  UVU does not have its own Radiologic Technology program.

Your UVU counselor is here to guide and advise you on classes on how to best prepare for applying to a Radiologic Technologist program. Meeting regularly with your counselor will give you a higher chance of achieving your goal.

About

Radiologic Technologists are the medical personnel who operate various  radiologic scanning machines to take images of patients. They can specialize in areas such as bone densitometry, cardiovascular-interventional radiography,  computed tomography, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, sonography, or general radiography. You can find the full list of specializations and what they  entail on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) website.  You can also find more information about the specialty radiology programs, the radiology boards requirements, what you will learn in a radiology program, etc. on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) website.
