Life Threatening Medical Emergency

IF THE EMERGENCY APPEARS TO BE LIFE-THREATENING

(Examples: unconsciousness, inability to move, potential spinal injuries, broken bones, uncontrollable bleeding, heart attack, stroke, inability to breathe, etc)

  1. Do not move the victim.
  2. Call 911
  3. Send someone to meet emergency personnel at building entrance and guide them to the emergency location.
  4. Get names of witnesses and information necessary for an accident report

Gunther Trades/ Computer Science building- 6th level corridor connecting both buildings

Physical Education building- Next to the Issue Room

McKay Events Center- lower level north end by the loading dock and 2nd level north concessions by mens restroom

Student Center- Student Health Services and main level by Bookstore

Browning Administration- Main hallway leading to Human Resources

Sparks Automotive main corridor

Fulton Library- 1st and 3rd level elevator corridors

Wolverine Service Center- main entrance

Brent Brown Ballpark- Outside of Owlz office

West Campus- Main corridor near main stairwell

McKay Education Building- Main corridor east wing

Utah Fire and Rescue Academy- Main corridor near south end

Wasatch Campus- 2nd level

University Police- Patrol cars

Alumni Building- Main level near kitchen
