Elaine Englehardt Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Distinguished Professor of Ethics Elaine Englehardt was recently fêted at the 2021 UVU Alumni Awards, where she received the Wilson W. Sorensen Lifetime Achievement Award!

Beginning as an Instructor in 1976, Dr. Englehardt has been “Distinguished Professor of Ethics” since 2005. In her time at UVU, she has developed curriculum for no fewer than nine courses, including the core humanities course for all degree students at UVU—the nationally recognized general education course “Ethics and Values.” She is also the recipient of the Utah Humanities Council's Governor's Award in the Humanities, and the Theodore M. Hesburgh Award for Faculty Development from the Ethics Across the Curriculum Program.
