2020 Philosophy Colloquium with Kris Phillips

It is with great pleasure that UVU Philosophy cordially invites you to Dr. Kris Phillip’s talk “Two Dogmas of Enlightenment: What Margaret Cavendish can teach us about Modern Philosophy.” The talk will be held January 31, from 2:00-3:30 pm in the Clarke Building, room CB 204. Dr. Phillips is an excellent early modern scholar and Assistant Professor at Southern Utah University. He is the recipient of the 2019 Southern Utah University Distinguished Educator Award, Associate Editor of Precollege Philosophy and Public Practice, co-founder of the Utah Lyceum for High Schoolers, and organizes the Southern Utah University undergraduate philosophy conference that several of our students have attended in recent years. We're excited for what promises to be a great start to our 2020 Colloquium!
