A brief spotlight on Madeline Brenchley and their recent Study Abroad trip to Dresden,
Germany! Be sure to check out UVU Study Abroad and talk with our department about future opportunities. We love to help students
with these kinds of immersive learning experiences.
“In Dresden I studied German language, history, and culture. As I learned in Germany,
I found myself better able to engage with some of my favorite philosophers such as
Walter Benjamin, Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Martin Heidegger. The Philosophy
Department’s help enabling my study abroad experience is just one example of their
sincere devotion to my development and success as a student, employee, and overall
person. Take it from me, the UVU Philosophy Program is the place to be!”
Congratulations, Madeline, on a successful trip!
