UVU paid Private Tutoring supports K-16 students throughout Utah County. Our team provides subject-specific tutoring that helps students gain confidence in difficult subjects, study more effectively, and improve scores in the classroom.

Tutoring Process

UVU paid private tutors can support your tutoring needs. Here’s what to expect.

  1. Make an Appointment: Fill out the online form, call us at 801-863-8072, or email Kari Zeyer ([email protected]) or Sheila Preston ([email protected]). Include your tutoring subject(s) and course title and requested tutoring hours per week.
  2. Intake Meeting: You will meet with one of our employees to finalize and sign your contract, including your scheduled hours per week.
  3. Set Up Billing: Our private tutoring rate is $20/hour. First month is required at contract signing. Payments are due monthly, and each client is required to stay up to date on their own payments.
  4. Tutor Assignment: You will be assigned a tutor based on your tutoring needs and employee availability.

Tutors do not provide curriculum. Clients must provide materials for each tutoring session.

Payment Information

Payments are due on a monthly basis, with the first month required at contract signing. Each client is required to stay current on their own payments. After the first payment is made and the contract is signed, UVU will send a bill each month for the monthly contracted amount.

We can only accept debit and credit cards and physical checks.
