His work on the constitutional debate over inferior courts in the First Congress was named Article of the Year by the American Political Thought section of the American Political Science Association. His current book project, Constitutional Foundations of the Modern Judiciary, utilizes the Quill Project as a robust research tool to recover the institutional logic that animated the framing of Article III of the Constitution. |

I am an Outreach Coordinator with Utah Valley University's Smith College of Engineering and Technology, where I promote our various programs to students at local middle- and high-schools. I have spent almost my entire career teaching and working with young people. I began, about 25 years ago, teaching English and general studies, have been able to teach logic/philosophy and American history, and most recently assisted adult learners as an Independent Studies teacher. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time exercising, reading, traveling, and watching sports.
