Comedy fundraiser will benefit the new UVU chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success
OREM — On Friday, March 15, the Utah Valley University (UVU) chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) will host “Stand-Up Comedy Takeover.” This night of laughs will help the new UVU chapter raise funds for next year’s events.
The NSLS is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. It offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where likeminded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. UVU chapter members are excited about the opportunity to be part of NSLS, and look forward to making a positive impact on campus and in the community.
Josh Fonokalafi and Andrew Hobbs are featured comedians for the night of hilarity. They regularly perform at local dry bars in Utah and specialize in clean humor. Their family-friendly content will make the night a hit with comedy lovers of all ages.
“I feel that this event will be a great release, especially for college students,” said Madison Davis, publicity chair for the chapter. “Comedy is a great stress reliever, and since the event is right after midterms, it’s a great way to come out and take a break from school.”
