The Utah Board of Higher Education recently created R606, USHE Employee Partner Scholarship, which allows full-time employees at any of the Utah System of Higher Education institutions to apply for a scholarship of up to 50 percent of tuition and fees at any other USHE institution.
The Utah Board of Higher Education recently created R606, USHE Employee Partner Scholarship, which allows full-time employees at any of the Utah System of Higher Education institutions to apply for a scholarship of up to 50 percent of tuition and fees at any other USHE institution. This scholarship is for USHE employees wishing to attend another USHE institution as a student. Recipients may receive a scholarship of up to 50% of tuition and fees. This application is only for the 2022/2023 school year. Applicants must reapply annually if they wish to continue receiving funds.
Eligibility:
Individuals who meet the following criteria could apply for this scholarship:
• Be employed full-time at a USHE institution (if eligible for funding, you must remain employed full-time at a USHE institution for the duration of eligibility).
• Be admitted to a different USHE institution, have declared intent to enroll, and enroll at least part-time in the chosen program.
• Intend to pursue a program of study leading to a certificate, degree, or other credential related to your current job duties.
Application Process:
All applicants must:
• Enroll information for the 2022-2023 academic year.
• Provide a brief explanation for enrolling at another institution other than the one in which you're employed (500 words or less).
• Provide letter on institutional letterhead of approval from a Dean, Assistant Vice President, or equivalent (or any employee more senior) stating that your educational pursuit is related to your current job duties.
• Complete the 2022-23 USHE Employee Scholarship Formby July 15, 2022.
