Two UVU Executives Named Utah’s 40 Over 40

Utah Valley University Vice President of People and Culture Marilyn Meyer and Chief Engagement and Effectiveness Officer Rasha Qudisat, Ph.D., were each named one of Utah’s 40 Over 40, a distinction that celebrates women for their exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions.

“I am honored to receive this award alongside such accomplished and inspiring women,” Meyer said. “My heartfelt thanks to the organizers of 40 Over 40 for recognizing our contributions and for celebrating the transformative power of women in leadership roles. This recognition not only validates our contributions but also reinforces our commitment to continue making a difference.”

Qudisat echoed Meyer’s gratitude, saying she felt humbled to receive the recognition.

“The 40 Over 40 initiative is an exemplary platform for commemorating dismantling gender barriers and inspiring forthcoming generations through positive role models,” Qudisat said. “This acknowledgment significantly augments our continual efforts to empower and pay tribute to women as we strive to progress our society.”

Meyer and Qudisat will receive their awards at the 2024 Annual Celebration Gala at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City on Sep. 27.
