Utah Valley University Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Chief of Staff Kara Schneck has earned Utah Business magazine’s Executive Excellence award. According to Utah Business, “The Executive Excellence Awards is an annual event celebrating the highest achievements in Utah’s business community. This event highlights executive team members for their strategic vision, resilient leadership, and profound influence on improving the business landscape and quality of life in Utah.”

The nomination for the award centers around the nominee’s leadership approach, management style, and individual standouts and accomplishments. “Kara Schneck is a woman of incredible talent,” stated UVU President Astrid Tuminez. “She brings to UVU, in her roles as Chief of Staff and VP of Marketing and Communications, sharp strategic thinking, outstanding execution, and exceptional ability to influence people and improve processes. The Executive Excellence Award ceremony and celebration is on June 20, 2024, at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Schneck will also be featured in the June issue of Utah Business magazine.
