There was a police presence on UVU West Campus yesterday afternoon. A woman in the National Guard Building called the UVU police dispatch, threatened self-harm, claimed to have a gun, and asked for help. UVU police officers responded immediately and contained the person while simultaneously evacuating the building. No gun was involved, and the individual was taken into custody.
