Utah Valley University (UVU) has appointed Brian Hall as its new associate vice president (AVP) of platform technologies, effective August 16, 2023.
As the AVP of platform technologies in UVU's Digital Transformation division, Hall will enhance technology systems, improve UVU operations, and transform platform technologies.
Hall has over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT leadership, with the majority of his time spent in the food and beverage industry. He comes to UVU from PepsiCo, where he served as the senior IT manager of global net revenue management.
"I am excited to have Brian join us," said Christina Baum, vice president of Digital Transformation and chief information officer at Utah Valley University. "His passion is evident, and his experience in technology leadership will help us accelerate our digital transformation."
Hall is an accomplished IT leader with expertise in business engagement, cloud solution implementation, technical solution design and delivery, application service management, technology strategy, vendor management, and technical project management within large enterprises.
He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in industrial design and computer animation and has an MBA with an emphasis in information systems, both from BYU.
Hall lives in Pleasant Grove with his wife, three children, and their dog, Buddy.
