The Wolverines will host their National Invitational Tournament (NIT) quarterfinal matchup against Cincinnati at the UCCU Center on Wednesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. MT. The upcoming game picks up where the excitement left off Sunday night, when senior guard Trey Woodbury’s led the Wolverines to a victory with 25 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. UVU defeated Colorado 81-69 in Boulder, Colorado, in the second round of the NIT.
UVU defeated New Mexico on the road in the first round of the NIT prior to facing Colorado. With the win over the Buffaloes, the Wolverines move to 27-8 on the season, the most wins in program history since moving to Division I.
