Utah Valley University is proud to honor and recognize more than 2,000 veterans from all branches of the military and their dependents who attend UVU.

Kayle Smith, assistant director of the UVU Veteran Success Center, said, “Today is a day for every American to honor and appreciate all servicemen and women who have served in the United States military. Only 1% of the nation’s population serve in the military, so we could definitely take one day out of the year to celebrate that 1% — those who are willing to serve.”

UVU is proud to facilitate the Veteran Success Center, which is dedicated to helping student veterans, service members, and their families successfully navigate higher education from registration to graduation. UVU is also honored to be ranked as a Military and Military Spouse Friendly School by militaryfriendly.com. The Military Friendly designation is awarded to schools that invest in programs to help veterans succeed.

For all who have volunteered to serve in the United States Armed Forces: Thank you for your service!
