Justin Tucker

JustinTucker brings more than 20 years of experience as an academic, consultant, and local government professional to his role as Assistant City Manager for the City of Corona. His current responsibilities include overseeing Economic Development, Community Services, Planning & Development, Communications, the Clerk’s office, and all Downtown Revitalization projects. Prior to his position with the City of Corona, Justin was a tenured Full Professor in the Division of Politics, Administration, & Justice at California State University – Fullerton. During his time at CSUF, he directed the Center for Public Policy and served as coordinator of the MPA program. He supervised more than 50 Master’sTheses and trained thousands of students in the fundamentals of public administration, American government, public policy analysis, program evaluation, and survey research. From 2004-2006 he managed the Survey Research Center at the University of Kansas. Justin earned a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University of Kansas and a BA in Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University.

Brian Peterson

BrianPeterson is a dedicated member of the public service profession and a leadership advocate serving as a member of the advisory board for Utah Valley University. With extensive experience in public safety, strategic planning, and professional development, Brian brings valuable insights to the board, helping shape programs that prepare future leaders.

Brian has led key assignments, participated on numerous committees, and contributed to high-level initiatives. He obtained a master’s degree from Utah Valley University in Public Service. Brian is passionate about lifelong learning and actively encourages professional development within the law enforcement community.

Brian is committed to fostering collaboration between academia and public service, ensuring that educational programs align with industry needs and leadership excellence.

Tiana Wynn

 

Tiana Vakaafi Wynn was born in American Samoa but grew up in Orem, Utah. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from UVU and is now applying her skills and knowledge at Project Overwatch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting first responders and veterans. Her role there has deepened her understanding of the unique challenges faced by these crucial groups and reinforced her commitment to public service. As she looks ahead, Tiana is set on pursuing a career in public service. She has a desire to continue to create more positive impacts on the community and improve systems. 
 
Outside of her professional pursuits, Tiana cherishes her time with family, whose support and encouragement have been a cornerstone of her success. She is especially grateful for her husband, Keaton Wynn for the support he’s given for the past 7 years. Tiana is excited to embark on this new chapter of her academic and professional journey, confident in the knowledge that her family’s support will continue to inspire and motivate her.
