UVU's dynamic MBA programs focus on practical application and engaged, team-based learning. Students use case studies, projects and interactions with organizations and business leaders on a regional, national, and international level. Tuition for each program includes an international consulting project with travel to countries such as China, Germany, Brazil, Ireland, England, and Samoa.

The MBA program at UVU is now delivered in Orem (Full-time Day and Part-time Evening) and at Thanksgiving Point (Part-time Evening).


Program Options

Full-Time Accelerated

Competition for the best jobs is fierce. We graduate job ready leaders and value creators who turn insight from the classroom into action in the boardroom thanks to our innovative and leading-edge curriculum.

  • One-year, three semesters - 12 credits per semester
  • Day classes with tracks in accounting or management

Part-Time Professional

A powerful and pragmatic way for working professionals to become better managers and accelerate their careers.

  • Two-year, six semesters - Six credits per semester
  • Evening classes - Two nights per week

Application Process

To apply for the full-time or part-time MBA program:

  1. Schedule appointment to meet with MBA Admissions staff to review admissions requirements.
  2. Complete online application at, which includes uploading responses for two essay questions – 400 words each.
  3. Provide three professional recommendations. Name and email address of professional references will be entered in the application.
  4. After the application fee has been paid, request official transcripts to be sent to Transcripts will be evaluated based on cumulative GPA or last 60 semester credits. NOTE: To be considered official, transcripts must be submitted to UVU directly from a college or university.
  5. Upload current resume that includes educational background and professional work experience.
  6. Pay $45 application fee. (The application and application fee differ for International Students).
  7. Provide GMAT or GRE test score. Test details and preparation resources available under Program Information.
    • NOTE: The GMAT or GRE may be waived based on cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher and an interview with the MBA Director or committee member.

Information Session

The Utah Valley University MBA Office will be hosting a monthly information session at the Orem Campus to learn about the dynamic MBA programs at UVU.

You and a guest are invited to attend the next Information Session on Wednesday, August 16. The events will be held at both 12:00 p.m. or at 6:00 p.m. with each lasting about one hour.

At the information session, you will learn details about the full- and part-time programs, locations delivered and receive answers to your questions from Current Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff. Come learn about the class delivery times, application deadlines, GMAT/GRE waiver options, and prerequisite requirements.
