F.A.Q.

  • Can I create group appointments?
    • Yes you can. Have one student from your group create the appointment with the tutor. In the "Notes" section of the form, indicate that it will be a group session and include the Student IDs and names of all the students in the group. We kindly ask that you do not exceed 3 students per group.
  • Why switch to Bookings?
    • Bookings helps us on the back end of appointments immensely. We will be able to accommodate more student requests and needs this way, including the ability for students to select face-to-face or online appointments between 8:00am-5:00pm M-F in the future.
  • When will the tutoring center be back to face-to-face?
    • We will move to a hybrid system in Fall 2021. Students will be able to choose between face-to-face or online appointments, between 8:00am-5:00pm M-F. Due to student survey reports, we will only offer online appointments evenings (5:00pm-9:00pm) M-F and Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm.
  • Why do I need to use my student email?
    • Your student email has automatic access to may of the programs in Microsoft Office Suite within UVU's security ecosystem. This means it is the most reliable email when setting up online appointments through Microsoft Teams, which we are required to use for online sessions.
