These partnerships aim to provide incoming freshmen with a vibrant, engaging community experience that fosters connections beyond the classroom. Students will live in a building with a Freshman Community Mentor (FCM): UVU students selected and trained to create personalized peer mentor experience through engaging workshops and activities that encourage student involvement in social, educational, service, leadership, and recreational opportunities, fostering a true campus life experience. Students interested in this program will need to opt in to texting and join our Outlook Teams channel. Please apply now by filling out our form.
Modern Living: Enjoy spacious layouts and private locking bedrooms in a brand new community with luxury amenities at any of our UVU Partner Complexes, including: Axis Luxury Living, The Green on Campus Drive, Promenade Place, Summerwood Student Apartments, Ventana, Village on the Parkway, and Wolverine Crossing.
Exciting Community Life: Engage in weekly university-related events and programming, foster connections with peers beyond the classroom, and engage with Residential Community Leaders. UVU’s Freshman Community Mentors are dedicated to building a strong sense of community among residents and creating engaging events and activities that help students connect with their peers.
Academic Advantage: Enhance academic outcomes like improving grades and increasing the likelihood of completing a degree by living near campus. Studies have shown that students who live near campus are more likely to achieve higher grades and complete their degree on time. By living at one of our partner complexes, incoming freshmen can benefit from this academic advantage
Convenient Transportation: UVU offers free UTA transportation to students, making it easy to get around town and access shopping, food, and entertainment options without a car.
