The Honors Ambassadors is an established committee of UVU Honors students who, along with the Steering Committee, help govern the Program. As student representatives, they act as advocates to their fellow Honors students when problems and questions arise concerning the Program itself, or from their interaction with professors, and other students. The Honors Ambassadors work directly with Honors Program Director.
Students interested in joining the Honors Ambassadors may apply each Spring term for the upcoming year.

Hey there, lovely souls! I'm Tayler Fearn, a Bioinformatics senior who's absolutely smitten with the enchanting world of data science and biology. Besides immersing myself in the wonders of academia, I'm also deeply involved in fostering connections and building bridges as an honors ambassador and a UVU Foundations Board Student Ambassador. But that's not all! I'm knee-deep in fascinating research, exploring the intricate dance of microbial communities through the lens of artificial neural networks. It's like peering into a whole new universe!

Presly is born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently in his second year of working towards a degree in aviation and a minor in Spanish. With high aspirations to one day become an airline pilot, Presly has always had a passion for aviation. He enjoys collecting model airplanes, with a collection of over 100 jets, and spotting trips out to Salt Lake City International Airport. When he’s not working as a pharmacy technician, Presly enjoys spending his time outside and participating in activities such as hiking, tennis, volleyball, photography, and traveling. This winter, Presly is planning on hitting the slopes with the Epic pass. Presly looks forward to working with the Honors program this upcoming year. Hi, I am Kayla Torres. It's nice to meet you! I am a junior studying sociology with a minor in criminal justice. Eventually, I want to pursue a master's in criminology to hold an admin position in juvenile justice. In addition to the honors program, I have a position with the Center for Social Impact as their strategy and design fellow. In my free time, I love to watch movies, get "swole" at the gym, and hang out with my cat!
