Honoring a Legacy

Lisa's two great passions, in addition to her family, were teaching and music. She impacted thousands of students and teachers over the years at Frazier Mountain High School in Frazier Park, CA and Lakeview Academy in Saratoga Springs, UT. No one could spend more than five minutes with Lisa without her bursting into spontaneous song or quoting some fun or profound lyric. She adored musical theater and all varieties of music but most of all she loved sharing both with others, often taking her children, grandchildren, friends, or even complete strangers to their first musical or symphony. She belonged to numerous choirs, played the piano, violin, and performed in many musicals throughout her life. Lisa took every opportunity she could to share her talents and love of music. She combined her love for teaching and music over the years by teaching voice and piano lessons to countless people.
 
In recognition and honor of Lisa, her life's work, and love for teaching and music, a scholarship has been created to support students pursuing an education in Music, Musical Theater, or Elementary Education at Utah Valley University. Any and all contributions are deeply appreciated in our goal to raise $25,000 to create a scholarship that will assist students in perpetuity.
