The Enterprise Risk Management program is the only one available in Utah and offers a unique career opportunity for students in this new field. This rapidly changing profession is varied, complex, and dynamic. As it becomes a critical part of the success for virtually all organizations, the industry has made bringing in college-educated professionals a top priority.
The Minor in Risk Management will help prepare students for possible Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) credentials. It focuses on risk management and insurance foundations, enterprise risk management, business law for insurance, commercial property risk management, insurance, and commercial liability risk management and insurance. In addition, students will achieve further distinction by complementing their demonstrated expertise in insurance issues with a mastery of general management principles finance, operations, and leadership.
Donations will help to support this crucial program as well as provide scholarships to students.
