Scholarship Appeal and Deferment Requests

Scholarship appeals and deferments can be requested through the following:

1. Log in to the UVU StudentForms portal.
2. Go to the Needs Action tab and click on the Manage Requests button.
3. Find the request you want to make and click on the plus button for the appropriate aid year.
4. Briefly explain the reason for your request in the comments box and click Submit. This can be as simple as "I need to appeal my scholarship." You will enter specific information about your request later.
   • If you make the incorrect request, you may cancel your request by clicking on the Manage Requests button again and clicking the minus button for the appropriate request and aid year.
5. Under Needs Action, select the appropriate scholarship task tile. This will take you to a new screen to complete the request.
6. Click on the green bar labeled UVU Scholarship Appeals/Deferments to expand your tasks. To complete your request, click on the Fill Out button.
7. Please read all instructions carefully and do not forget to click the Finish button at the end.
