The Mechanic shop plays a huge role in the success of the Facilities and Grounds departments. The Mechanic team is run by Cody Fuquay who is a certified master mechanic. He has over 20 years of industry experience from working in high end shops to being his own business owner. Each year hundreds of small engine repairs are being serviced on a preventative maintenance schedule while hundreds of other ad hoc assignments are in need of immediate repair. Cody is also responsible for managing and maintaining all generators across campus. The Mechanic shop keeps our Facilities and Grounds operational and helps ensure that our employees have safe and operable equipment.
