Utah Valley University’s (UVU) 33rd annual President’s Scholarship Ball will be held on October 7. This gala is a celebration of academic achievement and a night to support our state’s future leaders. 

 

The UVU President's Scholarship Ball is a cherished annual tradition, but this year, it is set to be a remarkable evening that will leave an indelible mark on everyone in attendance. 

 

The event will feature award-winning performances by the student a cappella club Bloom, the dance team Cultural Envoy, and UVU’s Ballroom Dance Company. Guests will also enjoy a gourmet dinner featuring the talents of UVU's Culinary Arts Institute.  

 

“The scholarship ball is UVU’s premier event,” said Astrid S. Tuminez, president of UVU. “I look forward to it all year long. It is a time where we celebrate Utah’s best and brightest students and support them in their higher education journey.” 

 

The UVU President's Scholarship Ball demonstrates UVU's commitment to transforming lives through education. Gifts made at the event support UVU Presidential Scholarship recipients. These generous donations enable students to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. It is a night dedicated to the unwavering spirit of excellence and altruism that defines the UVU community.
