Finding child care at the last minute can be difficult when you need to meet with a professor or work on a group assignment. UVU’s Hourly Kit Care is a drop-in child care service available for all UVU student-parents.
Hourly Kit Care watches children between 6 weeks and 12 years old for up to three hours at a time, Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. Scheduled and walk-in care are available.
$6 per hour per child
Hourly Kit Care is a drop-in service that provides child care to student-parents as needed. Unlike enrolled child care that offers child care based on a set schedule, Hourly Kit Care is meant for individual or unpredictable moments when you need child care outside of your class schedule, like appointments and meetings
Hourly Kit Care is open to all UVU student-parents. No previous enrollment or contracts are required. We watch children between 6 weeks and 12 years old for up to three hours at a time.
We keep children safe and busy while parents are away. Our program can care for up to 31 children in the space. Our highly qualified teachers will carefully supervise your child and will always both hear and see the children in our care. We guide children’s development through positive techniques emphasizing “do’s,” maintaining consistency, offering choices, and encouraging problem-solving.
We are a licensed child care center, which means we meet the state’s regulatory requirements for safety and operation. Hourly Kit Care has voluntarily undergone a rigorous evaluation, meeting higher standards of quality, curriculum, and staff training to provide an extra layer of assurance for parents regarding the center’s commitment to excellence.
Hourly Kit Care accepts both scheduled and walk-in drop-offs. Payment is due upon scheduling. You may schedule your child for Hourly Kit Care for up to three hours per session.
