Biography

Khaled Shaaban, Ph.D., P.E., PTOE is a professor of transportation engineering in the Department of Engineering at Utah Valley University. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Before joining Utah Valley University, he was with Qatar University and the University of Central Florida. He is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and a professional traffic operations engineer. He has over twenty years of experience in the transportation engineering industry. He has been a principal investigator or co-principal investigator for many research projects. The outcomes of these projects include numerous published papers and presentations on a variety of transportation engineering topics.
