After over a decade at BYU, Dr. James Krause joined the Department of Languages and Cultures at UVU. He currently manages the American Sign Language and Foreign Language labs and teaches introductory to advanced Portuguese courses in language, literature, and culture. He holds the following degrees: BA Spanish (BYU '03), MA Spanish (BYU '05), MA Portuguese (Vanderbilt '07), PhD Spanish and Portuguese (Vanderbilt '10). He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, and playing guitar.
