Carl Prior joined the Utah Valley University Athletic Marketing department as Team Lead in June 2022.

He first joined UVU athletics in March 2021 volunteering with "The Den", helping set up tailgates, assisting with game setup, as well as assisting the mascot program. Occasionally, he can be seen on the sidelines helping coordinate Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Wrestling, as well as community events all over Orem City. During graduate school, Carl began working directly with the Athletic Marketing team as one of the Team Leads.

He can also be found planning and helping organize over 140 events per semester all around Utah. He spent 2019 - 2021 living in Mexico, Chile, Missouri, and Utah and has become fluent in the Spanish language.

Prior began his Sports career working as a Sports Coordinator in 2018 and has consistently played on teams of dozens of sports starting clear back in 2006.

Prior hopes to graduate with a degree in international business and a minor in the Spanish language from Utah Valley University in December 2025
