Winning the Unsung Hero award at Brigham Young University (BYU) for my healthcare service as a Nurse Practitioner at the BYU Student Health Center during the COVID-19 pandemic is an incredible honor. I am deeply grateful for this recognition.
During the pandemic, I dedicated myself to ensuring the health and well-being of students, staff, and faculty members. It was a challenging time, but knowing that my colleagues saw and appreciated my efforts means the world to me. Being nominated as an Unsung Hero by my peers is a testament to the hard work and commitment I put into my role.
Overall, this recognition reinforces my passion and dedication to healthcare. It’s a reminder of the difference we can make, even in the most challenging times. I feel honored and motivated to continue my work with the same level of dedication and care.
