Dr. Farzad Ahmadi

Biography

Dr. Farzad Ahmadi served as an Assistant Professor at YSU from Spring 2019 to Summer 2023. Since Fall 2023, he has been an Assistant Professor at UVU. He has conducted industry-sponsored research projects and mentored undergraduate and graduate students from various disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Computer Science. Dr. Ahmadi also has industry experience from his work with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. His industry-based projects have allowed students to engage in practical applications and address real-world problems. His research interests are in the fields of Embedded Systems, Biomedical Devices, Sensor Design, and Machine Learning.
