Biography

Giovanna Jackson honed her competitive dance skills in International-style Latin Ballroom and American-style Rhythm at both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, all while completing her double bachelor’s degrees in Dance and Integrated Studies with emphasis in Business Management. She is an International Latin & Rhythm Finalist as well as Champion in many competitions locally and around the nation in both Amateur as well as professional level.

In 2009, Giovanna became a Director for the successful BYU Youth Ballroom Program and BYU Dance Department adjunct faculty member. As a Director, she proudly coached Pre-teen, Junior, and Youth teams not only to become finalists in upper divisions, but also champions. Since then, due to her love for dance, preparation, and success in competition, she has expanded her coaching services to many wonderful new couples and students and now she is extremely excited to be a part of the UVU dance faculty.
