Halie Hansen

Biography

Halie Hansen is an Assistant Professor in Utah Valley University’s Department of Nursing. She has accumulated nursing experience in various areas of patient care including labor and delivery, mother/baby, well newborn nursery, and special care nursery. Her years of nursing service include roles in education and leadership as both a clinical nurse shared leader and nurse educator. Halie completed a Master's degree of Science in Nursing Education from Utah Valley University.

The Nursing Excellence award is recognition for providing extraordinary care to patients. Recipients of this award are nominated for demonstrating Intermountain Healthcare's values of integrity, trust, excellence, accountability, and mutual respect. I was selected by peers and leaders at Orem Community Hospital and awarded the Nurse of Excellence Award in 2017 for Labor and Delivery, Mom/Baby, and Nursery.
