Professor Claudia Jorgensen

Biography

Dr. Jorgensen is a neuroscientist with interest in neural plasticity and a long publication record related to this interest. She teaches Introduction to Brain & Behavior, Behavioral Neuroscience, Psychopharmacology, and Sensation & Perception using learner-centered teaching methodologies. Her excellence in teaching has been acknowledged by various prestigious awards, including multiple accolades from UVU for teaching innovation and teaching excellence. Dr. Jorgensen's contributions to the academic field have even earned her an international teaching innovation award.
